Importing Workflows

You can reuse existing workflows by importing the workflow XML file into Project Director.

To import workflow:

  1. Open the Project Director Administration dashboard and click Workflows folder.

    The Workflows page appears.

  2. Click Import Workflow.

    The Import Workflow Definition dialog box appears.

  3.   Note:

    The Workflow Definition file is an XML file that includes the steps for the workflow. This file will be developed by the Engineering team and shared with you offline.

    Click Browse and select the Workflow Definition file.
  4. Check the Overwrite if already exists checkbox to overwrite a workflow with the same name.
  5. Click Add.

    The new Workflow will appear in the Workflows page and will also be available as an option when you add projects.
