Adding Language Models

To add a new language model:

  1. Open the Project Director Administration dashboard and click Language Models folder.

    The Language Model page appears.

  2. Click Add Language Model.

    The Add Language Model dialog box appears.

  3. Enter the following information in the appropriate fields:

    Option

    Description

    Name

    Enter the language model name

    Source and Target Language

    Select the language pair for this model

    Number of words

    Enter the number of words to calculate the time required

    Time Required (minutes)

    Enter the time required to complete the translation of the specified number of words for the language pair

    Note:   

    The time entered must ensure high quality of translation and optimum use of resources.

    Minimal Duration (minutes)

    Enter the minimum duration required for any translation in the selected target language

    Default

    Selecting a Language Model as the default will automatically select this model for that language pair for all projects that use it

  4. Click Save.

    The new language model will appear in the Language Model page and will also be available as an option when you add projects.
