Assigning Submission to a Vendor

To assign a submission to a vendor user:

  1. Open the Project Director dashboard (Active folder) and select a submission.
  2. Click on PM Assign under the manage tab as shown in the screenshot below.

    The Jobs Selection dialog box appears.

  3. Select the batch from the drop-down list and enter the target language(s).
  4. Click Proceed.

    The PM Assign dialog box appears for the first language. The phases in the submission will appear under the Phase column and the vendor list under the User column.

      Note:

    If configured, a user description is shown next to the Vendor's user name. Please contact the System Administrator or your Translations.com contact to show, hide, or edit the user description.

  5. Select the vendor user you want to assign this batch for translation from the drop-down list.
  6. Click Next.

    The PM Assign dialog box appears with the second language if you selected more than one language in the Job Selections dialog box.

  7. Select the Vendor user you want to assign this batch for translation from the drop-down list and click Finish.

    The selected Vendor user(s) will receive an email notification and will be able to start the translation process.

      Note:

    Once a phase is assigned, the PM Assign dialog box does not display that phase.
