Error Handling during In Progress Phase

To work on errors that occurs for an already started submission:

  1. Open the Project Director dashboard (Active folder).
  2. Select the submission that has an error and click on Error Handling under the manage tab.

    The Error Handling dialog box appears.

  3. Select the Languages and the Batches from the drop-down list for error handling.

    The corresponding target information appears below.

      Note:

    When you type the first letter of a language or batch, it will appear as an option. To view all the available languages or batches, place the cursor in the Language/Batch text box and press the Down arrow on your keyboard. If you wish to remove a language or batch from the list, click on x.

  4. Enter User comment about the error and solution, if any.
  5. Check the checkbox to select the batch that requires correction.
  6. You can complete the following actions.

    Use

    to...

    Download

    download the batch that needs to be worked on to fix the error.

    Reupload Translatable

    upload the file or batch that has been fixed.

    End

    end the submission without correcting the error. This action will update the Workflow Status of the submission as Failed.

    Ignore Errors and Continue

    ignore the errors present in files and continue with the submission. For example, if a file fails to clean up and this action is used then the submission will complete successfully but the TM will not be updated.

    Retry

    retry processing the submission.

    Cancel

    cancel all actions and view the dashboard.
