After claiming a submission, based on the configured workflow you may have the option to request a deadline change if the task cannot be completed by the time/date chosen by the client submitter.
To request deadline change:
On the dashboard, view claimed submissions in the Inbox folder.
The claimed submissions appear.
Select the submission and click Request Deadline Change under the translation tab as shown in the screenshot below.
The Request Deadline Change dialog box appears.
Check the checkboxes to select the batches for which you want to request a deadline change.
Click Request Deadline Change Translation.
The submission remains in the Inbox folder and submitter or project manager receives a notification. They can either change or not change the deadline.
