Using TM Lookup

  1. Do one of the following:

    • Enter a word or phrase in the TM Lookup input field

    • Select a word or phrase in the source segment

    Optional: Click More Options to filter the search as shown to the right and described in the following table.     

    Filter Option

    Description

    Case Sensitive

    Require that character case match in lookup process.

    Exact

    Require terms with matching words appear in matching order to qualify as a match.

    Automatic Leverage

    Automatically replace terms that are matched.

    Diff Highlight

    Highlight difference between words in the source and the target.

    Include Private TU(GLTMS)

    Search also your private translation units.
  2. Click one of the following:

    • Find In Source or Find In Target to limit the search to the Source segment or the Target segment respectively when you use the TM Lookup field.

    • On the Translaton Memory tab, in the Translation Memory group, click Concordance Search (F8) when you are searching for the source segment.

    The source and target segments with the matching word or phrase appear in the TM Lookup tab of the (Editor Tabs) area.
