Selecting Auto Propagation Options

The Auto Propagation function allows repetitive content in the document to be translated consistently, by propagating the translation. The Auto Propagation options control which segments are candidates for Auto Propagation.

To edit the Auto Propagation preferences:

1. Click the Preferences tab
   OR
   Press F9.

    

2. Click Auto Propagation.
   The Auto Propagation preferences appear.
   
   

3. Select the Enable Auto-Propagation checkbox to clear it, if you want to disable Auto Propagation..

   Note:  Auto Propagation is enabled by default. Auto Propagation functionality must be enabled, to use the Auto Propagation options below.

4. Select Auto-Propagation options checkboxes to clear them.

   Select	Description
   100% matches	100% leveraged translation memory (TM) matches.
   Fuzzy matches	Partial translation memory matched.
   Auto-propagated matches	All autopropagated matches. This means that if there are multiple segments that have the same content then editing one segment will auto propagate the change in all matching segments.
   Edited segments	Edited segments. This allows segments that have been edited to be overwritten by Auto Propagation.
   Machine Translated segments	Machine translated content.
   Committed segments	Translated content that is committed to the TM.
