Using Table Filter

The table filter allows you to search for specific terms using a number of filters.

 

Find below an explanation of the Table Filter toolbar.

Description

The Source/Target menu:

Select the filter for search terms. The options are:

  • Source: apply filter to matches in source only

  • Target: apply filter to matches in target only

  •  Source and Target: apply filter to matches that appear in both source and target

  • Source or Target: apply filter to matches that appear in either source or target

Match Case

Select to filter for case sensitivity

Text box

Enter text to be searched.

Filter menu:

Select the filters to be applied to the search. The options are:

  • 100% match segments: 100% translation memory (TM) matches.

  • Auto-propagated segments: all auto-propagated matches.

  • Committed segments: translated content that is committed to the TM

  • Duplicate segments: segments that are duplicated in the file

  • Empty target segments: segments without a translated target.

  • Fuzzy match segments: partial translation memory matched.

  • Machine translated segments: machine translated content.

  • Modified segments: edited autopropagated matches.

  • No match segments: segments with no match in the TM

  • Segments with edited source

  • Segments with grade and score

  • Segments with history

  • Segments with notes: segments that have been commented

  • Segments with repetitions

  • Segments with transcheck errors

  • Short segments

  • Unconfirmed segments: segments that have been marked unconfirmed

Apply selected filters

Cumulative

Apply selected filters in the order of selection.

Reset Toolbar Fields

Clear all fields on the toolbar.

Sort menu:

Sort the filtered results by the selected criteria.

 

The example below shows the results of a term in the submission filtered by Source or Target and Match Case:
