Configuring TransStudio Review

Note:

Ensure the correct Grading + Scoring model is enabled at the Organization level. For example, Simple, as shown in the screenshot below.

To configure

Open the Project Director Administration Dashboard and click the Projects folder.
The Projects page appears.
Select a Project from the Project list and click Edit Project.
The Edit Project dialog box appears with the information for the selected Project.
Click the TSR tab to set up TransStudio Review for this Project.
The TSR tab details appear.
Select a Grading + Scoring Model configured for the Ogranization from the drop-down list, and choose if it should be Mandatory or Optional.

Select the default Review Phases. The configuration options are:

Option

Description

Allow Claim Offline

Allows users to claim files offline for review.

Allow Claim Online

Allows users to claim files online for review in TSR.

Batch promotion/demotion

Allows users to promote or demote an entire batch of files, rather than promote or demote one file at a time.

Claim - Select all

Controls whether all batches for all target languages are selected by default in the Claim dialog box.

Disable Lock Segment Action

Controls the availability to turn on and off the unlocking of 100% match segements in the editor.

Disable Preview Translation

Enables linguists to download a Word version of their translation for additional spellchecking.

Do Not Send Instructions

Administrator decision to block instructions.

Controls visibility of Instructions in TSR.

Do Not Send Reference Files

Administrator decision to block reference files.

TSR will provide individual links to all the Reference files which the user can download one by one.

All Reference files can be downloaded at once from the PD UI.

Do Not Send Source Files

Administrator decision to block source files.

Controls availability of Source file links in TSR.

Do Not Send Project Background

Controls the visibility of Background

Hide Preview Files Button

Available in Claim dialog box. Not needed in client mode. If needed Administrator should change accordingly.

Hide Segment History

Segment history must not be visible before Review phase.

Hide Translation Notes

Notes added before Review must not be visible.

Note:

When this checkbox is enabled, users also cannot create notes, but they can add comments.

Click Apply if you want to continue editing details in other tabs or click OK.

Note:

To allow multiple files to be opened at one time in TransStudio Review, transstudio.allow.multi.file must be set to true on the System page. For more information, refer to System.

For situations in which the reviewer should only be able to promote or demote the files rather than open them for review, the Disable File Link must be enabled in Vendor Actions of the Edit Workflow Step dialog box of the workflow's review phase. Refer to Managing Workflows for more information.
